Cried when she should and she laughed when she could

I finally got Damien Rice's O with the b-sides. Yes - FINALLY! (Am I the only one rejoicing?)

Well, just had an hour of tears and borrowed depression. Lovely...in a morbid sense. But oh so lovely.

And because Rice got my imagination working now - after quite some time - here's a poem made up in "a flash of inspiration" (which might not be a good thing after all!).

It's not all about you

brace myself,
brace myself
can't find strength without
cried so deep within.

you said,
you said
and i don't know
confusion screams and echo.

what the hell,
what the hell
you're so damn good
twisting me around so bloody well.

i'm not going,
i'm not going
you can't make me
it's not the ending.

a new day,
a new day
you want to leave
so i say goodbye
say goodbye
to all your lies.

(and you went
not a last look back
and i
i could only say-
my tear-dried eyes-
"oh".)

*wipes eyes and sighs*

then something unusual something strange
comes from nothing at all
but i'm not a miracle and you're not a saint

tell it like you still believe that the end of the century
brings a change for you and me ~ Amie
