Not a review.

What a movie.

One of the best this year.

Limited screening - so far only in KLCC and Midvalley.

Literally limited. The cinema was about half of normal cinema size, and it was only half-filled.

This is what a good movie adaptation of a book should be like.

Annoyed with the mangled film of The Golden Compass?

Then go watch this movie.

Deserves the nomination. Awesome performance.

Keira Knightley...Chin Lei liked her performance, but I wasn't too happy with her.



She did do a good job though, when events became tensed and...emotional.

Saoirse Ronan - eh, what was the fuss about?!

The cinematography was beautiful.

That scene at Dunkirk - haunting. Tragic. Beautiful. Heart-breaking.

Paired with Elegy of Dunkirk, and you get a truly memorable scene.

Soundtrack was gorgeous. Hope Dario Marianelli wins the Golden Globe.

Cried during the movie. Heard sniffles from behind and beside me.

(Apparently the woman in front of me was crying openly throughout the movie. Girl beside me was smsing - I was annoyed. If you're bored, LEAVE!)

Came near to breaking down at this scene.



Did break down at this.



Had to stay in the cinema until everyone else left to calm down.

A love story.

Two lives torn apart by an innocent lie.

A young girl with an overactive imagination, and a misunderstanding of what really happened.

A future that could have happened, but never did.

A mistake that could never be put right, or atoned for.

WATCH THIS.

Seriously, just watch it.
