Angelic fruitcake

The first time I watched Placebo's This Picture, I went gaga over Brian Molko with his eyeliner. Then there was the first part of the song, where he speaks in a monotone, using some equipment thingy - I've forgotten what it's called - and then, now, the lyrics have got me hooked.
I hold an image of the ashtray girl
Left cigarette burns on my chest
I wrote a poem that described our world
And put our friendship to the test
And late at night while I was on all fours
She used to watch me kiss the floor
What's wrong with this picture?
What's wrong with this picture?
Farewell the ashtray girl
Forbidden snowflake
Beware this troubled world
And watch out for earthquakes
Goodbye to open sores
To broken semaphore
You know we miss her
We miss her picture
I was half right after all; my cold over the week was psychosomatic, in some way. It cleared up today, and I was so happy after the Maths test that I wanted to skip and laugh like a lunatic...except I didn't dare to in front of anyone.
